Hello and welcome! My name is B. Anne Actuary, and I am an
insurance claims investigator. I first met Chris Maher when we worked together
on an interactive multimedia presentation for the claims department at a
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania insurer. For our presentation, we asked ourselves
what a claims examiner should know about what an actuary is and does. I learned
quite a lot from Chris and thought I would like to pass it along to folks like
you who visit the MAI website. I'll add more information here regularly, and
I'll come up with new and interesting ways to present it.
